TIMOTHY BRADLEY AND ALFREDO ANGULO VICTORIOUS
07/18/2010
On Saturday night, WBO jr welterweight champion Timothy Bradley moved up to welterweight and defeated Luis Carlos Abregu by a twelve-round unaimous decision at the Agua Caliente Resort Rancho Mirage, California.
Bradley dictated the pace and landed clean punches throughout the entire contest. In the end, scores read 118-110, 117-111, and 116-112.
In the co-feature, jr middleweight Alfredo Angulo scored a first-round TKO over former WBA champ Joachim Alcine. Angulo punished his opponent with crisp, hard punches from the onset. Eventually, Referee Lou Moret waved it off at the time of 2:59 with Alcine out on his feet against on the ropes.
