DANNY GREEN KNOCKS OUT PAUL BRIGGS IN FIRST ROUND

 On Wednesday, IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green scored a controversial 29-second knockout over Paul Briggs at the Challenge Stadium in Perth, Western Australia.
Fans were furious after Briggs went down from what appeared to be a glancing blow to the top of the head and was counted out.
Green was also visibly upset saying that Briggs wouldn't be paid a dime. Green told the crowd he wanted to go to the dressing room of Briggs and “give him the flogging he deserves.”
It is expected that an investigation will take place looking into the outcome of the bout.

Some fight fans do not like to hear anything about a rivalry between the sports of MMA and boxing or even the UFC and boxing. These fans will say that you can be a fan of both or neither, and that they are totally different, hence making either comparison illogical.
