Welcome to KOnews.net FANTASY FIGHTING (Boxing/MMA)

-CONGRATS TO ED KROMAN, SPRING '10 WINNER-

SEASON IN PROGRESS: JULY 30 - NOV 13

WIN $60.00!

It's free, it's easy, and it's fun!

How to play:

If you are chosen to play, you will be given random fighters in a random draft, or you will be given the chance to select your fighters before the random draft.

If everything is random, just sit back and relax, you do not have to do anything!  You may scroll down to "How to win".

If you are being given the chance to select your fighters in a draft, then you should definitely read directly below...

All you have to do is click on the link below to select your top 30 fighters (you may choose any boxing or MMA fighters, but avoid picking fighters who are facing each other, or they won't count).
http://www.konews.net/index.php?p=1_107
E-mail your top 30 fighters to the e-mail provided with the list of fighters, and you're all set! Once the draft is conducted, you will get your top 8 available fighters. Then you just let history place it's course.

You must e-mail you top 30 fighters by the deadline provided. Fights will take place in the provided schedule.
If a tie-breaker becomes necessary, more fights will be added to determine a winner.

How the draft works:
There will be a draft and then the results will be posted.
It is impossible to schedule an actual draft for everyone to participate at the same exact time, so the draft will be random.
The order of the draft will be conducted in the order of the participants who joined first to last; however, a coin flip will determine whether to go in order of those who joined (first to last) or backwards (last to first).

How to win:
It's very simple, because every fighter (Boxing or MMA) is in a fight.

If your fighter wins, you will get a win on your record. If your fighter wins by knockout, you also get a knockout on your record (knockouts are only to determine tie-breakers).

If your fighter loses, you will get a loss on your record.

If your fighter is in a draw, you will get a draw on your record.

If your fighter drops out of a fight on the schedule, the substitute will become your fighter unless the match-up is rescheduled before the end of the season.

If a fight is cancelled and not rescheduled, plus your fighter does not fight before the end of the scheduled season, you will receive a No Contest on your record (although in most cases, you will recieve a substitute).

Please keep in mind, results on record are all that matter. Controversial and questionable decisions will not make a difference. The rule sucks, but it is necessary.

Draft results will be shown on the page "Draft Results" and
a schedule will be shown on the page entitled "FF Schedule" so you can see who is facing who.
